Well I had one slight moment where I felt I'd sculled a rum and coke, but that went away quickly, so I can safely say it hasn't affected me much at all!
Yep got prescribed Valium and buscopan by my immune specialist. He said the Valium was to relax me and the buscopan to relax the uterus. My transfers are a little painful as I have a tight cervix, but FS has never offered it.
@mrsjaguar I hear you on the twilight for pick ups, I have been aware and talking to them the whole way through on every epu except the first one!
Monty3 xx You will be before me so will be thinking of you I'm happy I didn't get a call for a trigger booster today so fingers crossed we'll both have a smooth and successful epu tom morning!

Hi Ladies Hoping to join you on this thread just waiting for AF to turn up which should be next week and then starting on first IVF cycle. Just had an information session about the procedures and costs FS said we can start as soon as AF shows up. Such a mix of emotions right now anxious, excited, scared to name a few basically pretty much freaking out would be one way to put it . Really working on trying to get my head into a positive mind set at the moment. Will be starting on Synarel Nasal spray once AF shows up has anyone else used this? Any side effects?
@Chiefsgirl wish my FS would prescribe Valium! - I have a tight cervix too & all my transfers have been painful 😞 Express post some to me! xx
Good luck for EPU today @AAA & @Monty3! Hope you both haul in some great quality eggies! 😘 xx
Yayy @rachie5 I have my transfer next week too so we'll be 2ww buddies 😊 xx
Welcome @Twinkley! Hope your journey is short & sweet hun. I've never used Synarel but have seen others say it's not the most pleasant, and can give bad headaches. Hopefully someone else can provide more input 😊 xx
@francesthecat & @miissalina hope you both receive some good news today re embies 😘 xx
AFM: Prednisolone is giving me the crappiest sleep, makes me wake up on & off during the night. And I have a stupid cold & sore throat. Hope it pi$ses off before transfer day!
Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all have a fab start to the week! 😘

Kayzb the steroids are terrible for sleep. I have melatonin at night to help. It drives me crazy. I hearDH sleeping soundly beside me, and just have the urge to smash him.
Good luck for EPU AAA and Molly.
Rachie and Kayb FET comming up. Super !!
francesthecat Lol! That made me laugh! I completely get what you mean; many a nights while DH is sound asleep, I stare at him with loathe & try to refrain from smothering him with my pillow! Lol And then when he wakes up from his 12 hour unbroken sleep & still complains he's still tired.. 😡😡 Stupid men.
Do you find that the Melatonin helps? xx
Welcome @Twinkley. I didn't feel too bad on Synarel. Just make sure you drink lots of water while you're on it and have a drink of something tasty beside you when you sniff in case it goes down your throat and you can taste it!!
Good luck to everyone else with EPU and transfers and in the tww!
I'm recovering from my D&C- I was fine for the first couple of days but started getting REALLY bad cramps and some bleeding last night. Has anyone else experienced that? I have my follow up with my FS this afternoon so hopefully he can let me know if that's normal!?!
Hope you all have a great day xxx
