Hope everyone's cycles are going to plan if you've started, otherwise good luck and baby dust to all. Will go back and read up from the beginning tomorrow and catch up on who is here and where you're up to.
@Soques what is the 5:2 diet you're on? I need to lose some weight too. I'm walking most days and going to the gym a couple of times a week but it's so slow. I am known to comfort eat biscuits though and there's lots of comfort eating at the moment!
    Hey Stephiew... Welcome...

KayzB is correct... The 5:2 diet is when you eat normally for five days a week and you "starve" yourself for two days (and NOT back to back). 500 calories for women and 600 calories for men. It's not that bad... Yesterday I had a cheese and tomato omelette and then for dinner mozzella and cheese with baslmic vinegar --- skip lunch... Drink as much BLACK tea and coffee without sugar of course... It's just one day...

So today I figured I would get and be famished, but I wasn't... I had a banana at about 10 am, a sausage sizzle from Bunnings with a can of soda for lunch, and a salad with crispy chicken for dinner... And a couple of tim tams for a snack before going to bed... And in all honesty I really didn't need the snack... Was just bored eated...

I read the book the FastDiet has lots of good recipes and the science behind fasting... Suppose to help level out blood sugars, help burn fat, decrease chances of cancer, and loose weight... It says in the book not to do diet when trying to get pregnant, but FS says it's was a good thing for me to and DH to do..

So it's flexible and really quite easy.

Thanks for the info. Don't think I could manage a day of fasting, I get quite sick if I don't eat every 2.5 hours. Been tested for diabetes regularly but negative. Might see a dietician as I'm also exhausted. Might be time to do some allergy/intolerance testing.

I have a question about progesterone in an otherwise natural FET cycle. What day did you start progesterone? Our clinic starts day of transfer but I've heard others are earlier. Just curious to compare so I can ask my FS next time I see her. Tia

Hi girls , can I join here ?
We just had our second BFN and will have a natural FET in June
Its funny how I sort of thought IVF would be done and dusted by June , but , here we go, into number three. We have 7 snow babies left and will only do IVF until we have been through them as I can't go on for year on the IVF journey. Hopefully number three will be our lucky one ! To you all!

Hi girls. I am another one from the April thread.
Thought April was our lucky month as it resulted in a bfp but sadly we lost the baby at 8 weeks. It was pretty heartbreaking as we really thought this was our time after seeing a good clear heartbeat on the screen and no other warning signs that anything was wrong.

Now have to wait for AF to arrive which is not likely to be until late June (as it takes a while after a m/c) and then see if FS will let us go straight into a FET, my Ob said it would be okay but am yet to speak with FS. Realisticaly the earliest we would be looking at transferring is some time in mid to late July but since there isn't a July thread I'll pop in here and hopefully see some of you get your bfps in June.

Like some of you I was a bit unsure about whether to join another one of these threads, but there are some familiar people in here (hi Blossom and RTropps) and I want to hear about how you all go. So here I am, back on the ivf rollercoaster again.

Ok ladies I need some advice...but I know it's still myself and DH that have to make the choice.

we have 7 snow babies left and we are giving this year over to IVF , if it doesn't happen this year then we won't keep going. I'm 37.5 and DH is 42, we have so far had 2 transfers of single embies. All of our snow babies are 2 days old, our FS doesn't like to do 5 day ones. We are contemplating doing double transfers here on in, given we have 7 left, and after this natural FET in June I will take a break for a few months. The literature I have read is a bit scary on getting UTD with twins and the risks to mum and baby. The chances of twins is increased significantly if you are transferring blasts, but we are not,, only 2 day old embies. What would you do?? Thanks for any thoughts!

@blossom1 sorry to hear your journey has to continue into this thread hun. Was really really hoping the best for you. But hey, FX it will be 3rd time lucky for you 😘 You were so spot on with your AF too! - wish mine was as predictable!

Re double transfer, I personally would say go for it, but to each his own. I mean initially the thought of twins was really daunting, but I've grown to quite like the idea 😊 Hell I'd be so blessed to even just have one bub, let alone 2!
But only you know your situation hun & what/wouldn't be feasible.
What does your DH think about it? xx
