I'm going to look really silly if I don't get to transfer this cycle So one day at a time.

Bahaha! So true. Stay away from POAS for a few more days @Butterfly39; sending loads of baby dust your way xx

Well results just in, my E2 has risen to over 1700 & I have 4 nice fat follicles. Have decided not to stress about the numbers & that it only takes one. We can only afford 1 stim cycle, then we're just going to continue counting our blessings. Would love to make it to transfer. Fingers crossed.

Looks like there is a big pile of us waiting on AF! How long post coming off the BCP would I be expecting her to show up again (i can't remember!)? To be honest, I have zero faith in her! Lucky if she shows up at my place more than three or four times a year anyway and often outstays her welcome!

Yep that one can be a bit of an ouch! In addition to ice I was told not to go too close to the belly button and to alternate which side you do it on. I once forgot and did it too close to my bb and man it stung and swelled up in a big red welt that bruised.
@Rtropps glad to hear you are feeling happier about things. Hope this transfer brings you better luck

Someone a while back mentioned teh BBC version of Pride and prejudice. I can second that recommendation. One of my favourites
@francisthecat any chance your spotting could be IB? Or is that completely off the radar this month?
@kizmetzing whenever I have come off BCP it takes 2 days for AF to show.
@Rarah11 FS said it is most likely the embryo and that even after two m/c the chance of having a nother one is not much different to anyone else. However he ordered some tests. To be honest I am not entirely sure what they all are, he said they were chromosonal and not normally ordered until after three because of the cost and the rarity of them turning anything up but he was prepared to order them in my case. One was looking for a blood clotting disorder and another for the MTHFR mutation which I think prevents you absorbing folate properly (my naturopath told me that). Had the BT this morning and they took 10 vials of blood!! DH had to have some tests too, again chromosonal. Will be about a month before the results come back but if AF arrives in the meantime we will press ahead with a FET, although hopefully will get results back before transfer as apparently there are things they will do differently if something shows up in the tests. Have a few signs I might be Oing so FX af shows up in two weeks and we can get on with things. How are you going? I know it is still a little while before you get your results/speak with your FS but are you doing okay physically and emotionally?

@Bellydance glad to hear he ordered some tests for you. I'm hoping I'll get the same! I'll def ask about the ones you mentioned - I love it when they drain you of blood.... I'm hoping it's just nature as will be easier to deal with - I fluctuate between positivity and frustration depending on when I think AF will show... We're going OS in August so could mean waiting til September for our next cycle and that just annoys me... I'm still spotting from the D&C and it's been almost 2 weeks!

@Rarah11 Yeah I was really pleased that he ordered the tests as I didn't want to just try again without knowing if there was some other issue. Couldn't bear the thought of going through this a third time. It's a bit sad but I think when I do get another bfp I will have trouble feeling excited now. I know what you mean about fluctuating. Two weeks sounds like a long time to still be spotting. Not suggesting it is abnormal just that it must be hard emotionally. I know I felt a lot better once the beeding stopped as it is a constant reminder of what happened. To be honest I am actually surprised that I am possibly Oing now (have ewcm. sorry tmi!) only two weeks later and right on time. Last time it took ages for my cycle to return to normal. Then again I also feel like AF could arrive at any moment which I know is impossible so it could just be my body playing tricks on me.
Are you going somewhere exciting OS? Hope it is a nice holiday as you deserve a good break and could be just what you need to recover, even if frustrating delay. xx

Hello Ladies. I think I am in the right spot.

I am new to the forum but am thinking I need some support and hopefully I can give support to others.

My husband and I did our first stim cycle in December which was not successful. We had 3 x day 5 embryos left and transferred one in February. That was successful but unfortunately, like a few other ladies here, no heartbeat at the 10 week scan. I had mentally prepared myself for the 7 week scan but after seeing a heartbeat and good measurements, was not prepared for what happened at the 10 week scan.

Rarah, I read that you are still spotting. I think I spotted for 10 days. Like Bellydance said, I felt a bit better emotionally when the spotting stopped and I could feel my body getting back on track.

For a few weeks I wasn’t sure if I could go through it again, but am now fully prepared. I am just waiting to ovulate which will hopefully be in the next few days and have a transfer towards the end of next week.

I will now go back and read the thread carefully to work out who you all are and where you are up to.

    Best wishes to you all.

@Emerald26 - welcome, I went through a heap of grief after not seeing a heartbeat on my 7wk scan. Going through that at 10 wks must have been gut wrenching. It took me a while to get back in the saddle too, I had endometritis after and went to hospital and my thyroid stopped working properly and that's probably why I lost the baby, it wasn't picked up. Although it takes a while to recover, you do recover, and sometimes you're even stronger than you were before the experience.

    anyway, welcome, good luck. xox
