@leyshoja - I am so sorry. Massive, massive hugs. xx
Well, I've just learnt an important lesson...be specific when speaking to IVF nurses (although I think they should be aware enough to know what constitutes "need to know" info)...I called about our fert rates and they said 10 had fertilised. At transfer, FS said all were great quality etc so we assumed 9 were frozen. Just got back home to a letter saying 6 were suitable for freezing, so does that mean that they arrested or that they were crappy quality so deemed not suitable for freeze? I know 6 plus the 1 we transferred are great numbers but I can't help but feel like some info was withheld...or was I just not asking the right questions?
@leyshoya and @blossom1 I am so sorry it hasn't worked for you this time. Treat yourself to something wonderful.
Thanks for thinking of me ladies. My transfer went so well I almost wonder if it went wrong! I changed my flights so hubby was there with me, so I popped my 2 Valium and was feeling very relaxed. The FS was late (so glad I moved my flights), we were in took some pivpcs of the two embies (a morula and a compacting something). They were super happy with the morula and said it was just a cpl of hrs behind being a blastie and the compacting was a day behind. That's all I had out of the 5. But all 5 thawed and were still growing at day 5, the other three were just slow.
We jumped on a plane that evening and came to nz. Caught up with friends yesterday and went to the all blacks England game. I do wonder if the excitement and yelling was good for bubs, but it was so much fun. I didn't even mind the fact everyone was drinking Around me- I was the designated driver and had lots of laughs at them when we had to stop I the middle of the country road for them to all pee in the bushes!
I am now tucked up in bed at the inlaws after being pampered and having a meditation break this arvo.
Someone was worried about overheating? In bed and blankets are ok, hot water bottles on tummy, electric blankets, saunas, spas, hot baths aren't. It's all about your core temperature, so if you're sweating, you're too hot.
@mrsjaguar. - CONGRATS! So hppey for you! You must be 8dp5dt so 13dpo? Is your official poas at 11dpt or 16dpo? That's what they have given for me.
Yay for PUPO Cheifsgirl.
Have a fantastic trip.
