    Default Cacao powder recipes

I bought some cacao powder today as I have been hearing quite a bit about it lately. Now I don't know what to cook/make with it! Any suggestions on some yummy recipes?

I make gluten and dairy free chocolate crackles with cacao. They are so yummy and easy.
    2 cups rice bubbles
    1/2 cup coconut
    1/2 cup honey
    3 tablespoons cacao
    125 ml Virgin coconut oil
Just melt honey with oil and cacao then mix in rice bubbles and coconut.
I also make cacao balls in the food processor using assorted nuts and seeds, almond meal, cacao, honey, and peanut butter. These are yummy too.

I make a smoothie with mine each morning.
    I use:
    2 tsp maca
    1 TBLsp cacao
    1/2 banana
    Handful blueberries
    1/2 tsp ginger
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 TBLsp chia seeds
    Milk.

I am always feeling tired through the day but since taking this smoothie I feel great. Even now I'm slightly sick and I still feel energized with a 2 year old DD as well.

I love raw cacao powder, it tastes soooo good. I would never go back to normal coco powder. I use it in cakes protein balls, smoothies, check out wholefood simply they have many many uses.

I also use it in smoothies with frozen bananas or acai berry powder mix mmm

Try making raw chocolate with cacao powder, cacao butter or coconut oil can add seeds, nuts, dried fruits. It's sort of like a chocolate bark...also can make raw choc truffles with them. Lots of recipes on the net

I just use it instead of cocoa in everything I used to use cocoa in. Nobody can really tell to much of a difference.

I can't eat it straight...equal amounts of raw cacao to pure maple syrup for me. Love it like that! But to eat straight? No, I tried it once, it was disgusting,
