Default Boys 5th b'day gift idea

My daughter is invited to her first party from kindy and I have no idea what to get a boy for his 5th b'day. Does anybody have any suggestions? Also how much do people normally spend?

I normally spend around $10 -$15. Lego or a vehicle of some description like hotwheels or a truck or a motorbike.

    Trash packs
    Spider-Man
    Lego
    Puzzles
    Dinosaurs
    Hot wheels

Also, in KMart you can buy a bag of plastic jungle or farm animals. He LOVES these.

Most of the ideas have already been suggested that I can think of. Lego is our usual go-to for boys' birthdays. It depends on a few things as to how much you spend, ie. your income and what you can afford, how close she is to the boy - whether just a classmate or a closer friend. The other two points are only personal things I take into consideration and have no bearing on what you should do, but I also consider how many of my children they have invited and what sort of party it is - for example if they have invited 2 of my children to somewhere that costs them money like a play centre, ten-pin, etc I tend to spend a little more as I know they are spending extra covering the costs of these activities.
