I made vegan red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting with silver cachous in bitty little jars for our wedding... Our colors were deep red and charcoal. I made them all myself in one night, four days before the wedding when our other bombonierre plan fell through at the last minute. They came out absolutely delicious and looked amazing, people were asking me who catered them!
We did vegan so there'd be no risk of food poisoning etc and nobody could tell, people were amazed when they found out. They stayed fresh and moist in the jars for about a week after the wedding too
