    Default Searching for family day care.

    I've Googled and am lost! I'm looking for a family day care for my dd on the Gold Coast. Can anyone point me towards a website or something that I can find a list of them?
    I've registered with YMCA as I've used them for in home care so I'm waiting to hear back.
    Also if you used FDC what kind of things did you ask them? Did you ask for references? What do you think is a reasonable rate?
    Thanks.

    Try your local council and the family day care Australia website.

    Try http://www.careforkids.com.au/

    Simply enter your post code, and you can refine your search to what care you are after, what days, age/s of child/ren... and it will bring up all the recommended results (in your case family day care) in and around your area. Most also have current vacancies available and prices.

    There is also a list on the same website of questions to ask potential care providers.

    ETA here is the link for the questions to ask;
