Maybe stick with the flannel then.

We just got a sleep sack thingy from cotton on kids for $30. A winter bundler I think they call them.
Oh really? I didn't think to look there!! That's. Good price.

Not lined with anything but it does get quite cold here so being too hot isn't too much of a worry.

    This is one of them

That looks great. Might be worth it.

I did get one grobag secondhand on ebay for $11. Hasn't arrived yet so I'm yet to see if it's okay.

I found some premade quilting fabric... with some wadding in it. In spotlight. I'm going to see what it is like too. Couldn't resist. Very cute pink owls on it.

So I made it today. ..
Bit dodgy. .. Think I'll try it with flannelette lined with a zip up the front for the next one.

I made some for a relative in Armidale and used polar fleece with part of it being doubled. It had arms and a flap over the zipper at the top so it wouldn't scratch. I put the zipper in upside down and put a buckle hole with a cover flap at the back so if the undid the zipper a little (because it was upside down) they could feed a seat buckle through the buckle hole at the back and where the zipper was slightly undone.

I think it looks fine tamtam. If it works and keeps her warm then that's a success

I always used upside down zips in all my sleeping bags if you do make another with a zip. 1 obsessed little miss with zips would have meant it never stayed zipped up here

That is the quilted panel I turned into a sleeping bag! But I couldn't make the owls/hearts fit on the bag vertically so I made it up with the owls!!!
