Love candles. My SIL makes her own and made some during my pregnancy and also a pink one as a momento which she specifically gave to me on the day I went into hospital to be induced. They smell incredible and it's such a unique scent that whenever I'm in need of a pick me up I take the glass lid off the jar and smell it (I'm too scared to burn it as I want it last forever!) and I'm instantly taken back to the day of DD's birth and the same feelings of elation and excitement come flooding back. I love how a certain scent can be so strongly related to a particular event and bring back intense memories
