Default Anyone got a false positive on pregnosis pregnancy test ?

Hi , I'm 11dp a 3dt and just did a test . My blood test is tomorrow . The line came up faintly within a couple of minutes and has since gotten a little darker. But it's still very faint. Could it be a false positive ?ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1398553328.779242.jpg

As far as I know, a false positive is very unlikely. The test is detecting a hormone and will only show up as "positive" if you have that pregnancy hormone. A false negative is more common as the particular hormone is hard to detect early on, if that makes sense.
(unless the actual test is faulty, which is why you often get more than 1 test in a pack.)

(ETA: This is what I found online... All pregnancy tests work by detecting a certain hormone in the urine or blood that is only there when a woman is pregnant. This hormone is called human chorionic gonadotropin (kohr-ee-ON-ihk goh-NAD-uh-TROH-puhn), or hCG. It is also called the pregnancy hormone.)

I have had a false positive by the same brand but it was a lot lighter than that.

Thank you , I'm quietly confident . Will go and see if I can get a first response test and try again. I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow after my blood test :-)

Ive had several false positives but not with that brand (was with frer). But as pp said, they were much lighter- that definitely looks like a true positive!!
