I hope things go well star. You'll be sore for a few days but hopefully you get answers.

Star, that's great you have a date! Make sure you rest up afterwards. I was fairly sore for a few days after it, so make sure you have some DVD' s & some magazines on hand. How do you feel about it?

Tbh I don't really want to do it. I feel like it's completely pointless either way. If he finds my tubes are blocked he said my only option is ivf which we can't afford, and if he finds there's nothing wrong I still need to see a fs which we can't afford. So I really don't see much of a point. I also don't like surgery and I'm not looking forward to feeling crappy for days after

Is it just like period pain?

When I had mine he found absolutely nothing so my pain was more muscular from the incisions (my cut was ridiculously long). So getting up and down from sitting, getting out of bed hurt. You'll have steri strips for a few days.

I totally get your frustrations. I knew going into mine it wasn't me (and of course I was right) and said to DH they will find nothing, which they didn't. I had already had the dye test.

The dye test can be a good flush however. You might find the dye goes through but sometimes they are unblocked by the test and you never know they were blocked.

I feel really frustrated for you hun. It seems your issues are to do with ovulation.

Ok I'm stressing out I got Mondays bloods back and I was just about to o, so my nurse thinks it was yesterday or today, how long after the surge do you actually o? I am down the coast till tomorrow arvo and last dtd Monday night. Did I miss it?

Star when I had my lap they found endo that we had no idea I had but that was it, was more to rule stuff out. I was in pain for a few days but they give you some good drugs. I also had some shoulder pain from the gas and was nice and bloated. I booked in for mine yesterday, I hope it's not too far off.

Yea I think ovulating is my biggest issue but I also feel like maybe something goes wrong in my luteal phase as well.

It's very frustrating feeling like it's all pointless. Even my gyno said it's pointless but to do it anyway so that if I see a fs I don't have to pay to get it done :/

Tmi question but with the dye does it leak out of you after or does it just disappear??

    Thanks star I hope so.

I think I had spotting for a few days after the lap, I did wake up with a pad on so it must leak back out.

The dye does leak out, but only one pad worth. I'm unsure of bleeding as I had my period when I had the lap.
