I just hate being in a staff room full of girls....they jump to they conclusion all the time. Admittedly I was pregnant a couple of months ago, and lucky no one really commented then.... It's too early for me to know if I am..... But it's been in the back of my mind.... Think I might be getting a head cold
Boysie.... I'd read about taking Feldene (prescription) and Buscopan (over-the-counter) to take before the ET, as it's supposed to help the uterus relax and not contract during the ET, but when I asked, both Dr M and my FS said not to bother, so we didn't do this. Seems to be only a few small studies, and neither would say it was worth it.
I took Feldene in my last cycle. Tbh I had no idea what its purpose was - fs had me taking so many things I couldn't keep them all straight! However he's a big believer in relaxed uterus at transfer - he even makes you take valium and a shot of brandy at transfer! So if that's what it does then I'm not surprised he prescribed it. That was the cycle I got my bfp but I did so many things differently that I really couldn't say if it made a difference.

I'm pretty sure feldene is an anti inflammatory kinda like voltaren, I guess it helps to settle down the body whereas buscopan is the antispasmodic :-)
Thanks ladies, suffer extremely bad pain during ET and have never been offered anything. My FS will not be available for my ET. Stress! So I think will ask my GP for valium but not sure if she will without speaking to FS
Sorry what is et?
Argh sorry I see
