Hi ladies, how is everyone going? I'm still around but don't really have anything to report on just yet so have been fairly quiet.

    Hope everyone is going well

Hey Rocky, I'm doing ok - good results at egg pick up (5 instead of our usual 2) but only 2 have fertilised properly so pretty disappointed. I'm really not sure if I can handle another stim cycle if this one doesn't work... Fs has been positive and feels like he knows what we need to do to get better results next time so that's good but it's just so tough. I've started planting the seed with dh that I don't think I can take much more, but he doesn't really understand. If we can get our 2 little embryos to transfer then we are still in with a shot as I've been taking all these extra drugs to help implantation - hopefully they make it! The next few days to transfer will be a bit nerve wracking!

Oh phee good luck! I hope you get a nice bfp from your transfer!! Maybe if you don't just take some time off before doing another round?

Thanks star. After so long it's hard to even imagine ever getting a positive result. It just doesn't seem like it's possible! I'm trying to psych myself up for one more round since fs has ideas on what to do differently and then a big break is definitely in order. At least 6 months I think.

Huge hugs Phee. I will have absolutely everything crossed for you that they can do a double transfer & that one or two take for you. I don't know if it's much help or not but one of my good friends recently did her 5th cycle of ivf. They collected 3 eggs & 2 fertilised. They told her they weren't the best quality but she is now pregnant with twins.

That's good to hear that your FS has other ideas for future cycles but I don't think they fully understand how difficult it can be financially.

When are they looking at doing your transfer?

Thanks Rocky Transfer will probably be Thursday. Wednesday will technically be day 5, but on our previous cycles our embryos have only made it to morula stage by day 5 and our new fs said when that happens he likes to wait an extra day to see if they can get to blastocyst stage, so I think it's pretty likely that he'll want to wait the extra day.
