Well done on the weight loss star! are you back on clomid yet?

My body is scr@wing me around, cd18 and still not sure I have ovulated or not, thinking not, which is very odd on clomid. Normally I'm a clockwork cd14 ovulation on it.

I'm in a trough emotionally atm.

That's a fantastic effort star! Keep it up!

I'm just waiting for af... I took the last contraceptive pill on Tuesday so it should be any day now...

No del not on clomid yet. I was thinking if try it again after I've dropped about 10-15kgs. I'm not completely convinced that it's going to do anything. Phee what's the next step for you now?

Star, I'm so sorry to hear of a long af. I know how awful it is (I used to get af for weeks on end before I had my endo removed). Great work on the weightloss! High five! You're doing so well, I hope you are proud of your achievement so far!

Del, I hope you ovulate soon. Clomid can be so frustrating & I hope it happens soon for you.

Phee, I hope af comes soon for you & doesn't last too long

    How is everyone else going?

I haven't been up too much at all lately, just working.. I turn 30 soon & have leave over my birthday which will be nice I'm just waiting until Sept which is when my transfer is scheduled for. I wish I knew if it was going to go ahead or not (depends if my lining will be ok & I normally have a very thin lining) as I'd love to take time off work for a few days so I'm not stressed. I don't want to take days off & then it doesn't go ahead. What I've learnt from all my previous fertility treatments is things with my body never go to plan

Thanks rocky I'm pretty proud of myself so far my will power has been good this time around I'm managing to turn down junk food when I have the opportunity to eat it so yay me! Last week was really hard because I started the metformin again and it made me starving hungry all week so I'm actually surprised I lost weight last week. I'm not expecting a big loss this week but I'll be happy with 500gms - 1kg. I bought a diabetes cookbook yesterday because it has lots of low gi recipes in it so I'm excited to try some of the recipes from that!

I so hope transfer goes ahead for you and you get a lovely sticky bub from it!

Our new fs hasn't figured out what the problem is for us yet but he's focusing on 4 major candidates for the problem and treating all - so dh is on supplements to improve sperm quality, I'm on supplements to improve egg quality, they are going to do half ivf and half icsi this time to see if that improves embryo quality and I'll also be taking immune system suppressants to help implantation. So that's our plan of attack - just waiting for af and then fingers crossed that my lining is thin enough this time so that I can start jabbing!
