I still don't get the 70% abnormal bit. It sounds very vague. The motility can easily be fixed. I read ages ago that folate and vitamin c are just as important than zinc. Cut down on coffees and booze.

Yes, it seems the problem is motility. He's been on menevit for 6 weeks, but is cutting out the coffee, codeine and is getting more vit c tabs as menevit bizarrely only have 100mg instead of 1000 needed.

At least we finally have answers. All 3 areas weren't great. Even his count, which was within normal wasn't fantastic.

Unless there is another way they work it out. 87% sounds really really good. You could ring the hospital it was sent to.
Was the sperm looked at straight away. It will have the time it was looked at I the top

I should also add it says "examined (post collection) 1.75 hours". DH has to drive 45 mins to the nearest pathology that does SA so it was 2.5 hours before it was tested. Does this sound normal?

It was 4 days of abstaining

Ahh. It needs to be within an hour.
We did ours at home and drove directly to the hospital.

Sorry I keep posting. Public hospitals do it. You just need to get it there at about the 45 minute mark and they should do it within 15 mins

Sounds like they took an hour to test it. That's pretty bad of them
