Oh, he asked me to show him where the baby was going to come out. I declined, lol.

My first attempt at s3x education was disastrous so I haven't attempted again.

I got the book "where did I come from" from the library and explained to ds how daddy put his peni3 in mummy's vagina and then a baby grew in mummys tummy. blah blah blah. He listened quietly but I wasn't sure how much of it he took in so I left it at that.

A few days later we were in the waiting room at the drs with a lady who had a newborn and ds loudly said... "I know how baby's are made, daddy put his p3nis in your belly and then a baby was in there".

I said "not quite but close" and then he said even louder... "oh I know daddy put his p3nis in your bum and a baby got in your belly"... The whole dr surgery had a bit of a laugh which only further encouraged ds to chant "daddy puts his p3nis in your bum" until we were finally called in to see the dr.

I wanted to die from embarrassment.

    I haven't tried again

I told my kids they popped out! No elaboration has been necessary.

Mr almost 4 has known for a long time that babies grow in mummy's tummies (including animal mummies). At the moment he knows that they grow for a long time and then you go to the hospital and the dr helps get them out. If he asks I'll elaborate with the truth but until then I think he knows enough.

I told DS that DD would come out of my vagina, which he thought was hilarious and thought I was pulling his leg until DP backed me up, and we did a bit of a re-enactment with a ball and one of his socks to demonstrate how stretchy it would get
