    Default IVF experiences

    Hi there,
I'm about to start my 2nd full cycle.
I had one that had 4 eggs collected but no embryos lasted until day 5
I was cancelled the next cycle due to high FSH (18)
Now my FSH is down to 2.5 - i'm using melatonin, CoQ10 and Androgen cream.
And having acupuncture once a week.

Have 4 follicles on the right as of Day 2 scan.
Doing a boost cycle this time

Just looking to share some experiences with others going through the process. I'm feeling its a bit isolating and want to keep positive through this cycle.

Just want to say good luck! I'm sorry your last cycle sucked. My first attempt at our 3rd cycle was cancelled due to high oestrogen on day 2 (apparently high oestrogen can mask a high FSH). I was totally gutted, but 3 weeks later we started our successful cycle. In hindsight I'm so glad the clinic waited until everything was perfect to start, sounds like yours is on the right track. Also follicle numbers can grow as you stim, I think I started with a couple on each side on day 6, but ended up with 7 eggs.

Oops pressed send too early! Have you thought about dhea? Maybe keep it in mind. Keep up the positive attitude! How do you like acupuncture? I find it very relaxing, still going 3 weekly at 29 weeks.

Thanks so much for your reply Rosie ! and congratulations or your pregnancy !
It makes me feel better hearing some positive outcomes re follicles growing during the cycle.
I have been on Andregen cream with lowered my FSH to 2.5 is that the same of DHEA or is that for egg quality ?
    Started a cycle today

I'm doing acupuncture once a week - i think it makes a difference too.
