I was expecting 3-4 weeks (it counts from ovulation/conception), so I might not be 6 weeks along like I first thought, maybe more like 4 weeks, which would put ovulation around the time AF arrived??? strange, but i guess it's possible?

I talked to a close friend who is an obstetrician, and she said as far as ectopic goes, to just keep an eye on it. I'm not in any pain, so unless I have pain, to not worry. If the tests keep getting darker, then it's not a miscarriage. So I might (fx) be able to actually start getting excited Will be booking a GP appointment this week anyway as I want a blood test to confirm and a dating scan...
I still think you really need to see someone to get your levels checked. I'm sure it's all good news, but better to be safe than sorry!

Good luck @jussi - hope it is all good news for you
Haven't been on BH for a few days but oh my gosh there has been so many BFPs!!What a bumper month! I'm day 40 today and still no sign of AF - tested a few days ago and got a BFN so will test tomorrow morning and just double check. I think I'm just having a long cycle and this will be my longest yet!

    update after seeing the doc:

so he checked my cervix: it was closed - this is an inconclusive result but at least it wasn't open

I had a blood test to check for hcg - will do a repeat next monday.

So... a week of being very cautious and looking after myself while I await the comparison results...

have had no further bleeding since this morning, so hopefully a good sign...

    Fingers Crossed Jussi xx

Had my blood test today. I am expecting to have low HCG results as this is what happened with DS (they were 40) and climbed slowly, so I think that is normal for me. I am having weird I wouldn't call them pains but fullness/pulling today so see what happens. Drs Appointment on Wednesday.
