@theoneandonlyem don't rule anything out - I just had the heaviest "period" of my life, only to get a bfp yesterday at what I thought was cd 12 but I should have counted it as 28dpo instead...

I just don't know what to make of it. Normally my AF goes dark brown pretty quickly, but nothing this time. I want to test, but I'm not home so I can't. I dunno. I'm not convinced either way.

Have you tested yet @theoneandonlyem? I hope that you get your BFP.

So I went to the doctors today and did a wee test that came back negative. I am not quite sure what to think of it. I have read and heard that the doctors tests are not as sensitive. I was quite deflated when I got home. I did another FR test and it came back even darker so I am hoping that is a good sign.

    What do you all think??

    I hope everyone is well

took this this morningImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1404025156.056621.jpg

I was expecting 3-4 weeks (it counts from ovulation/conception), so I might not be 6 weeks along like I first thought, maybe more like 4 weeks, which would put ovulation around the time AF arrived??? strange, but i guess it's possible?

I talked to a close friend who is an obstetrician, and she said as far as ectopic goes, to just keep an eye on it. I'm not in any pain, so unless I have pain, to not worry. If the tests keep getting darker, then it's not a miscarriage. So I might (fx) be able to actually start getting excited Will be booking a GP appointment this week anyway as I want a blood test to confirm and a dating scan...

So not sure how to post a photo but I finally got up the courage to test, period is 3 days late! Got a BFP! Tested again and got a second one! No major symptoms and feels completely different to me first. First time I knew! This time I'm in shock. Hope it's all good.

Not yet. I'm interstate visiting family so I can't test at the moment. I get home tomorrow afternoon so I'll prob test tomorrow just to check, but I'm fully expecting bfn. If we conceived this cycle my due date would be my 30th birthday!
