@Willowglen I really struggled with the whole weight gain thing. I think as long as you are trying to be as healthy as possible then you're ok (I say as I'm smashing a packet of wagon wheels!)
I know I have put on weight but there is no way I am going near any scales...I can't or else I'll stress.

@Willowglen - I gained about 8kgs in first trimester and now @19w I'm close to gaining 10kg in total. I'm now almost 60kg. Weight gain is not bad, everyone's body responds differently. Both my previous pregnancies I have gained 25kg and 30kg respectively. No need to worry!

Thanks ladies. I know it sounds superficial but I had gotten really fit and healthy and lost a lot of weight prior to pregnancy and it's hard to see all that hard work go down the drain even if it is for the best reason in the world!!

For any ladies in the brisbane area, there's a place in Logan that had 3D ultrasound for sale on living social at the moment for $32!

    @Willowglen I know exactly how u feel!!
I was going to gym 4 times a week before falling pregnant and now I can barely muster thr energy for a walk! Im 16 weeks and already put on 4kgs I cant say im eating as well as I used to though
Im quite short and always hovered around 50kg mark.. with my first pregnancy I put on 18kgs(took me to 70kgs) and though it doesn't sound much for me I felt huge and even friends told me afterwards "u got big!!" Lol
So I do get it, im trying to remind myself im pregnant too and its gotta happen

@Willowglen Im another who wont go anywhere near the scales but its not the weight you are putting on its how you feel, all the weight could be bubba and fluid etc. If you're eating right and feeling comfortable then nothing to worry about.

As a lovely long term IVF told me, We worked hard to get these babies, weight can be lost at a later date, baby needs the nutrition. And if baby wants KFC, baby gets KFC!

Mines lowish and I feel dizzy all the time, incredibly frustrating but nothing can be done, just take it easy.

Thanks for all your well wishes, I just got home from work and it's another bleed free day for me , I actually feel a bit like a normal pregnant person and weirdly proud of myself. Now all I need is for this weird podge to turn into a bump!

    Ohhh who mentioned KFC?!!

Hi ladies. Lots of activity on this thread today!
I'm also worried about weight gain but for different reasons. I was so sick during the first trimester that I lost 7kg in total. I'm 16 weeks and I have only put a kilo back on. That said, I had a few ' body fat reserves' for both bubs to feed on.... Hope I start gaining more very soon!

Great bump photos ladies. And I love hearing all the good news from the scans and the gender reveals! I can't believe some of us are getting to the half way mark already.. Time flies!!

We booked our mini -babymoon today...a long weekend at (my favourite) fancy resort up at the Sunshine Coast. Can't wait till the. End of June... Is anyone else having a babymoon of sorts?

People at work are telling me I look "really pregnant" already... Bump is growing by the day and I have even started to waddle! And it's only the 16 wk mark!

You're babymoon sounds lovely! We did one last night (booked prematurely and by the time the trip came around I had lost bubs) been hesitant to book another in fear but a simple weekend away sounds like a great idea, thanks @90Bayside

Twinnie bump sounds like its going to get big quick! Bump photo!
