Just incase you wondered what a bored pregnant woman does on a miserable long weekend once the housework is done and while her husband is away...

She organises the misc kitchen drawer!

Next project : scented drawer liners for JJ's chest of drawers and change table.

    Love it it wish!

No luck for me in the bassinet, but dad is going to try to track it down for me. After all, it is from his side of the family originally!! Lol

@Sparklemonkey did you take a pic? It's so awesome to get to this point isn't it? I'm so excited for tomorrow! As you would be too can't wait to see my little skiddles moving around now.
Lol wish you can sort out my spare room if you like haha that would keep you busy.
I hope your dad can find the bassinet bow! Would be so special to put your little one in it also.
That sounds great Amandale. I have been thinking more and more about having
one lately because I don't know how I will go 20 weeks without seeing her! I was looking at a place in mawson lakes in adelaide. If I done it I think I would wait a few months so I can spread them out, but I just don't want to know the gender.

I considered them but cant justify the price $299 + in WA. Still dont know what we are going to do, bassinets seem like such a waste

I'm doing the cocoon 4 in 1, it converts from a bassinet, to cot, then to a junior bed and finally a table and chair set. It costs about $1k but is good value for money considering you get 4 uses out of it - I'll get it in beech wood finish considering our house is art deco, the white modern would just look weird.

I have a cot from my DS that we'll get another use out of and will just pick up a second hand wooden cradle off Gumtree to use for the first couple of months then resell. Last time I got one for $40 and sold it for $120
