Thanks girls! Yes my co-worker was rude but I didn't register how rude until a while after when I got over the shock of it all! Needless to say I wore a sack to work today haha
@frenchy81 there is no way I'd ask your MIL to be there so early on. My MIL is very well meaning but quite pushy and would love to be there every step of the way too but I've made it clear it's just going to be me and my DH for the first week or so and we will call on people to come and visit when we are well and truly ready! I couldn't think of anything worse having frustrating ppl around at that time. It's definitely me time when the baby is born and I don't care if that comes across as rude

About the weight thing, I am quite tall and slim and I know I have put on weight so there is no way I will be stepping on any scales or looking at my weight until well after this baby is born! Haha I already have stretch marks on my upper legs and bottom I think I must be really vain but that bothered me so much! Haha

    Welcome to lashed!

@Rarah11 - I don't want her to come. I have always looked after myself and I don't want her to come out of a sense of obligation. I want her to come because she is genuinely happy for us and wants to spend time with her grandson (and her other grandchildren too).

I just don't want to overreact and was wondering if it's just my hormones?
Well it was on. The chick went to the toilet thinking she was hell constipated....then she pushed her baby out into the loo. Only realised it was a baby when she stood up and realised it was still attached. I have to laugh. SURELY NOT??!!!

@ELM13, try pressing into the area around your belly button. You might feel a "pop" or flutters of movement.

So excited for you! 16w?!?!! Woohoo!

Thanks @frenchy81 I must have sounded a little "nuts" and impatient without a further explanation. Id give anything to go back to the days of naivety and joy rather than the fear that comes after devastating loss. Hopefully only good news for all and no one here has to suffer that awful fate.

@Lashed welcome!! We cycled together in Oct/Nov, Sorry to hear about your loss, any idea why?
Yes the bush is a wonderful place to raise kids, we will home school until high school then they will go to boarding school. It will suck for DH but he will be with me in the new year so bub will be a few months old but at least he will have a months holiday with us, I have to find accommodation for a month before my due date until im ready to leave town! Its not going to be cheap either, but the way I see it, we could be spending all that money on anther round of IVF... So we might as well spend it on having the baby too LOL
I should get my Doppler tonight cant wait!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone! Sorry we have been away for a week without reception! Slowly catching up!!! No more bleeds so far!! Hopefully 3 was enough! @misti I read you mentioned u had a bad dream before ur bleed! Me too, every time!!

We will b 12w on Saturday!! Yippee!! Big scan in Monday, hopefully that is all good, but quietly confident because one of two embryos transferred was genetically tested.
All my symptoms have eased salary from feeling tired, sore lower back and feeling like it's the day after Xmas everyday!!! Can't tell if I'm showing or if ive developed a little podge! But had lost 2.5 kg a week, gonna get back in scales when I jump out of bed! Hope everyone's well xxxx

    Ps. I'm in Adelaide

Wishinhope, 'hair pulling' is totally common here. I'm guilty of it a lot, although I can not ever imagine how stressful it might be for you girls after a loss. Thinking of you, hope the next few days fly by, I've got a very good feeling that everything will be fine.
