Great news Bayside - that must be a load off.

A bit of spotting here today - trying not to freak and spent the afternoon in bed. Rang the OB for reassurance and he's fit me in for a quick scan on Tues. As he said 'everything was looking perfect 3 days ago so try not to worry'... I'm trying!

    Em x

@90Bayside that is great news !!
@Molros it's totally normal - try not to worry, but I know it's easier said than done. We've not even told close family after our last experience and I'm almost 10 weeks - I haven't had a scan and seen the heart beat since 7 weeks and we have first OB appointment on Wednesday so am bricking it...
@emski72 hope you are ok - try not to worry, good that scan was so recent!

@90Bayside thats great news!!!!!!!!!!! @Rarah11 it is hard and it must be especially so for you with what you have had to go through, I hope Wednesday comes around very quickly for you. We haven't told any family apart from one of my sisters and DF's brother. we all say try not to worry but it is hard not to isn't it?! @emski72 I agree with rarah, your scan was only a few days ago and it was all good so try and focus on that and rest up. Once we all get to the 12 wk mark I think we'll all relax and start to enjoy the pregnancy a bit more!

That is amazing news. Yay for you (and the kids) :-)

I scanned myself at work again today quickly... one had a heartbeat and the other was moving! Kind of looked like it was having a seizure... in a good way. Lol. I wish I had the scanner at home, thats the only time I dont feel sick.. how weird is that!

Em, I hope your spotting settles down soon. This pg stuff is just as stressful as the ivf stuff hey. Hoping your little bean is nice and snug in there :-)

AFM, four more sleeps before my NT scac. I wanted to ask, I am getting myself a bit worked up about it, is this normal? I think its at the forefront of my mind as I have a friend (who is about to give birth) who is younger than me had to have an amnio as her risk was pretty high, another friend had an early mc that turned out to be downs (not recent) and my DF cousin had to have a medical termincation last month becuase her baby had ds - also younger than me. I know I have no reason to worry but I can't help it, it started last night and I only mamaged to sleep for about 4.5 hours Am I just being silly? Im just a bit scared, please tell me its normal. I know I've been really lucky that I've not really been at all sick (sorry @90Bayside and @Megsarama26!) but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong either does it? I just wish we could wake up at the 12 week scam and know everything is okay! Sorry for my downer post and thank you
Im not at that point yet melros and havent even thought about it yet, but at least its only a few days and you will know either way soon. I know it can be hard hearing the stories of people around you but remember there are hundreds of healthy babies born every day. We deliver over 5000 babies a year at my work alone and under 100 were born with or terminated due to downs. I have my fingers and toes crossed for a good outcome for you.

Hopefully we are all low risk and have happy healthy babies. That's what im praying for and im not usually a praying kinda person.
