@emski, I've checked BH about 5 times today (stalker much?!). I'm so glad to hear everything is ok and what a great HB!! Did they find anything that may have explained the bleed?
@Flower78 I'm sorry that you have been in this holding pattern for so long. How much longer till the final test results and the next u/s? I know it's a totally different situation but all these bleeds I'm having have stolen my enjoyment too. I was so excited and positive before they started despite my previous losses but now I find it impossible to look past the next few days. I hope you get the all clear soon so you can shout it from the rooftops!
@Bow Ties Are Cool sorry to hear about your migraine I hope you're on the mend.
@frenchy81 That sux about your glucose results. I'm a bit clueless about GD does getting on insulin earlier mean you might be on a lower dose than last time or doesn't it work like that?

AFM the bleeding stopped again last night... and then it started again this arvy, that's 4 bleeds in 10 days I really wish it would stop for longer than a day or two so I could feel like our little bean was getting a chance to grow, plus my lining was crap and my iron was low during the cycle so I'm getting worried that if it keeps going on like this there's no way I'll be able to sustain a pregnancy. On the plus side, I saw a HB yesterday and I possibly felt a little quesy today (though I may have been wishing it) and there's only 2 more sleeps till my next scan so I just have to take it day by day and hope I've got good news on Thursday.

Gosh so many of us are suffering from insomnia! What causes it? I haven't been sleeping well but I figured it was just the stress of the last 10 days.

Congrats to to all those who are staring to show (though you may not be wanting it) it must make it seem very real and lovely that all those bubbas are growing so quickly!

@misti - whenever I hear doctors say "bleeding on/off and spotting during early pregnancy is normal" - I want to scream at them and say, "try going through it yourself!!!" BUT here I am, saying the same to you.

Look at all the ladies here in this group alone, who have had bleeds at some time during their early pregnancies. And their babies are all fine - including yours! Sucks though that you have to worry, but it is human nature for us to worry. I just hope all is ok with you.

AFM the stupid GD showing up so early because my endocrinologist had the foresight to test so early is a good thing for bub. He won't be as big, and he might not need any care afterwards (DS was fine after he was born, just pricked on his toes every few hours to test his glucose levels but otherwise healthy). So I'm thinking early detection is better for bubs then if it was detected later at 28w so they don't have that much time to manage it better. I'm thinking the insulin levels will probably be similar to last time, but will start slow to increase gradually to the dosage that my body needs. I'm disappointed but glad it's detected NOW then later I guess.

In regards to insomnia....so sorry to the ladies that have it! Could it be that bubby is getting you ready for sleepless nights???? Lol

Misti, thank you for checking on me ... I had spotting today too after a few days reprieve, firstly in the morning after a BM, and then after the internal ultrasound. I've decided not to stress unless it's a bleed. They couldn't find the source of the bleed for me...so still clueless.

What kind of progesterone support are you on? I stopped crinone because I didn't want to be aggravating things up there and will stay on my progesterone in oil injections until 10 weeks.
Can anyone here recommend a *ahem* laxative that is allowed in early pregnancy? The last thing I need is to be straining in that region.

    Em x

@frenchy81 I'm feeling for you. I already had insulin resistance due to my pcos so had to do the test at 12 weeks. Apparently mine came back high so Ob sent me to see an endocrinologist. I as him yesterday and so far no GD and he's taken me off my tablets so it's mega strict eating for me.... No bread, pasta, rice..... No wheat based carbs..... So everything I normally eat when I'm not feeling great
But I'm trying to think like you that it was better to catch it early

@emski72 I feel ya on the laxative thing. I was so scared to push anything that I made myself constipated! I ended up just using benefiber, the original one. Then when it went back to normal stopped and had a glass of iced coffee every so often to assist the 💩💩 situation lol

@frenchy81 I'm sorry to hear your glucose results weren't good. I hope Friday's as appointment goes well and you don't have to inject so many times a day! Fingers crossed for you!
@misti I can't imagine having to deal with bleeding as well as everything else. I hope today goes super fast for you so you can get to that scan tomorrow and get some good news. Just try focus on your last scan and try not to worry I suppose that is easier said than done!
I really hope all this bleeding stops for everyone this week!

    Thinking of you all!

@emski I'm with you on that! Unfortunately I've needed a bit of help in that area...! My iron levels were so high from the elevite. Benefiber is great! My doctor also put me on coloxyl (not coloxyl and senna) which helps a bit too and also eating a giant amount of veggies, salad and prunes! Haha the glamorous side to it all

Cant beat the good ol Prune juice! Works for me every time
The Doppler cost $120 there are heaps cheaper ones but I figured the better the quality the more chance I had hearing bub, It only takes a few seconds to find bub as I know where he/she hangs out and I only listen for a min or two then put it away, there are lots of videos on youtube to show you how!!

@Kymbo82 - I hated the diet!!!! And even when I was on the diet, it didn't work!!! Argh!

I also have pcos, maybe it has something to do with that???

I'm sorry you tested high on it as well, but FX GD stays away for you. Sucks sucks! I can't even eat fruit without my glucose levels shooting through the roof!
