Thankyou I will check that out.. I really wanted to have a look at the Tula, but there aren't any retailers in Australia that sell them you can only purchase them online. Which is a bugger!

You can always try a sling meet as someone might have one you can try. Also frangipani baby rents them out )

You can hire a Tula for $80 ($50 is a security deposit that you get refunded) and then get a discount if you choose to buy afterwards. They are lovely and so comfy. The sleepstore has them on special atm. They hold their value well so if you don't like it you can sell it for what you paid for it (expensive option off the bar I know).

Otherwise look up your local baby wearing fb and go to a meet.

You hire them from Tula's official website (tulababycarriersdotcom I think). The sleep store was just another option they're an NZ store and delivery time is less than a week

Carry my baby on Facebook stocks Tulas I believe. She is online but I think you can arrange appointments. Perth Baby Wearers have meets to at different locations where you can trt before you buy you can also borrow from their sling library if you are a member. Definitely worth having a look!

That is so helpful! thanks. It certainly pays to join forums such as this. Being our first this is all new to me sometimes you just don't know where to begin or what to get. To be able to talk others about what they recommend is fantastic.

I'm curvy (size 20-22) and a total apple body shape and the Ergo is fine for me. My DH is quite thin and fit and says DS doesn't seem to enjoy being worn by him as much as me because he's not soft enough. lol Get DH to experiment with the straps until your LO is comfy.
