    Default Discipline 4.5yr old

Is it ok (worthwhile) to make 'punishment' at a later date (tonight)?

Ds1 threw something at Ds2 (it hit his eye).

I told DS no TV/movie after his bath tonight. Normally he'll watch 15-20min of a kids DVD before we read a book.

I was so close to giving him a smack, I was soooo angry that he hurt his brother and almost blinded him!

I do. DD loves her chill out time at night, she watches youtube clips or one of her shows. If she's been really naughty I'll tell her she can't do them that night.

The only downside to saying it is, sometimes I forget by the time night has rolled around and she'll ask me to do something and I'll let her. So annoying haha
