Definitely the unconditional love and the look in her eye when she sees DS, ( he was 2.5 when we got her so she has grown up with him !) he loves her but is so rough with her but she loves him so much she just sits there while he stands/ sits on her! She just loves being with us !

@LoCo they sound like beautiful fur babies. Your boy sounds exactly like our boy. Very protective but also very cuddly as well!

@Elijahs Mum, is your girl an Am Staff? She is just gorgeous! There is something so special about the bond between dogs and kids.

What does everyone feed their fur babies? For those who have staffy's do they suffer with any allergies or food aversions? Our boy wont eat kangaroo meat, wont even taste it! He gets hayfever and the typical itchy staffy skin!

No she's a Cane Corso ( Italian mastiff)
Smaller than a normal mastiff and less drool but she's still 40kg at 10 months!
I feed her a BARF diet ( raw meats and veggies for dinner and grain free dry food and sardines for brekky )

@Elijahs Mum wow! And i thought a 20kg staffy was solid! Does she like the BARF? Ive heard lots about it. We just feed our boy raw mince and raw chicken wings.

    Everything. I love absolutely everything.

Mostly, though, that they are so very different.

My boy Jack, well, DH calls him a dog
He runs to the the door to greet us (most of the time haha), LOVES cuddles, and is such a character. Loves talking, and munching on green veg (think peas/kale)!

My girl Lily is a real princess....can be a bit standoffish, but when the mood takes her, incredibly affectionate. Her voice is higher pitched than Jack's and a bit husky.....and when she's loved up she tends to drool....sometimes she forgets to put her tongue back in her mouth as well.

I can't remember what our lives were like before them!
