Default How do I get the wee smell out of brolly sheets?

My nearly 5yo is still wetting the bed most nights (whole separate post), and brolly sheets have been a god-send.

BUT now, they STINK….even after washing, all i can smell is wee.

How do I get rid of the smell????

vinegar is great for getting rid of smells. I would probably do a wash with vinegar in the fabric softener compartment or after they've been through a full wash do another full wash with vinegar instead of washing powder.

I strip wash mine like I used to do with his cloth nappies, also lots and lots of sun. Ours have never retained the wee smell. We use them in conjunction with night nappies but they are still wet in the morning.

Liquid Canestan wash works really well. We use Conni bedsheets for Dd1 and the canestan gets rid of the smell.
