    Yes! Crepe myrtle. I didn't figure it out before as all the pics were red. It's a beautiful tree but the pods are everywhere and the kids play with them.

    You're all so cluey. Im going to ask your expertise on a few other trees in our yard

    The seed pod is different. The crepe myrtle seed pod looks the same as do the flower.
