That's no good. At least you know bub CAN sleep a good block though. Hopefully the centre will help you get back to this.

Just wanted to update the thread incase anyone else is looking for info on the nurture centre. We had our stay last week and it was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone who is having sleep issues.

The staff were amazing. So kind and helpful and very supportive. They never pushed you to do more an you felt comfortable with (in terms of settling your child and letting them have a grizzle) and really listened to all your concerns and questions. The first night I had a wonderful nurse sit next to me for almost an hour while we tried to settle my little one to sleep. Not something I would have stayed strong on if I had of been at home on my own. The responsive settling technique they use was something I felt comfortable with as I wasn't made to just leave my baby to cry.

The unit is small. Just 7 mums and their children at a time for the week stay. I felt this was a good number and that you were able to get enough help from the nurses when you needed it. Certain times of day they were often busier, especially of an evening when most of us were trying to get the babies down for the night, but help was never far away.

My little man has gone from sleeping in my bed with me, feeding around the clock, and waking every 2 hours or so and not napping during the day, to sleeping all night, in his own cot, no feeds overnight and having 1-2 naps a day. He is happier now he is getting more sleep (and of course so am I!). We haven't gone too backwards in his sleep since we came home, and he seems to have adjusted well. Hopefully we can keep it up!
