Default dd won't go nappy free

I've tried a few times to get my dd toilet trained, but she kicks up an almighty stink about being nappy free. She is 2.5 years old. Any suggestions on how to manage this? Negotiations don't seem to help (she does have advanced language). Is it just a matter of trying yet again over & over?

With my DS2, I just put him in undies one day and didn't look back. First day there were heaps of accidents but by day 3 he had it down pat. He was about the same age as your DD or maybe a little older.

Could you try some pretty themed underpants or training pants? There's heaps of pretty things on Etsy... https://www.etsy.com/au/search?q=tra...ant&ship_to=AU

Ok, that seems simple. I don't know I just thought that to get her trained quickly she *should* go nappy free! I have some pretty undies for her that she's shown some interest in, so undies it is

    Thanks heaps!

When you say 'nappy free'....you weren't just making her get around nude from the waist down were you? I only ask because you said on your last post 'undies it is then', as if perhaps that is a new idea?

My DD toilet trained recently (she's 2.5), and she always had at least undies and a t-shirt on. She loves undies with Dora or an animal on it. The pictures on the front also help her know front from back as she likes to dress herself.
