Default Tips to help baby take the bottle.

My DS is 5 months old and fully breastfeed. We have a function to attend in three weeks and I need to leave him with nana but I can't get him to take a bottle. I have tried three different types of bottles and different times of the day but he just screams.

Any tips or advice would be great.
    Thanks

Has your DH or Nana had a go? One of mine wouldn't take a bottle from me or from anyone even if I was in the house! But if I wasn't there they'd be ok.

Yes my husband has been trying for the last few days to get him to take the bottle, while I cared for our older daughter but he just screams and get really worked up. I feel for the little guy, he just loves the b.o.o.b.i.e.s.

Try laying him on the couch and feed him that way. You can hold the bottle but he won't be distracted by your smell!!!
Keep trying. You will get there.

My DS doesn't take a bottle but he will drink ebm out of a sippy cup now. At first he wouldn't drink it from one with a valve so had to use one without (tommy tippee I think) and gentle tip it back and forth so he wouldn't choke. Now he drinks it out of a nuby one with the built in valve and it has handles, bonus!! Have a look around at the sippy cups with handles
