My dd is obsessed, she has heaps. She suckered dp into helping her make a starburst bracelet the other day. He's better at it than me lol. Will have to get a pic of dd and her creations tomorrow but this is what I made today (the only ones I know how to do, fishtails I think they're called?) My two girls are doing it too.

They can do it without the loom and can do the fishtail one above. We have tried the others but we go to pull it off and it all falls apart

Maybe over easter I will sit down and have another go.

yeah my DD has got me making all kinds of things for her.

She can do the fishtail ones - and add beads etc to them, but to make the triple strand ones she needs me to help.

I have finally worked it out now though, so have made quite a few different creations with bands and beads. There is a little beaded flower that I have been making to add to them too ...

will get some pics to add when I have a chance

DS1 (8) has a fracture in his foot so is doing a lot of sitting/laying around. I was thinking of getting him a kit to occupy himself but I don't know if he'd like it. How much are they and where do you get them from?

I got the one from big w. It was $15 but seems a bit sturdier than the cheapie ones. Came with heaps of bands.

Other bands I got from the reject shop or lincraft , about $3 for 2-300 bands.
