We were just up at Twin Waters on the Sunny Coast a few weeks ago, which is about 25 min drive from Noosa and the days were hot, we were swimming at the pools and beach, and the night just had a cool edge, def not cold.

Great. We would be happy with high 20's at least to swim at the beach.

Normally still pretty nice. The days are generally sunny and warm with nights sometimes having a slight chill.

Not a bad time of year really.

Just for reference, I live on the coast. I hope you enjoy your holiday

I went over Easter/Anzac a few years back. It was around 25-30 and humid. Still lovely though

    Hi there
I live about 40 mins from noosa and around now the weather is warm during the day (25-29) and cool most nights. April and September are the best times to visit the sunny coast

Thanks. Now it just come down to cost. Is Noosa Heads a little cheaper than Noosa (accommodation) and is the beach nice?
Also a friend suggested landing in Brisbane and driving a hire car there (we'll need a hire car anyway)

Noosa Heads is essentially the tourist part of "Noosa" and is mainly thought of as Hastings St and main beach. Other nice areas to stay are Noosaville (along the river, great for kids), Noosa hill (short walk up the hill and often a bit cheaper), Noosa Sound (on the river, short flat walk from Noosa Heads and the famous Hastings St), Little Cove in Noosa National park (super expensive and exclusive but stunning) and Sunshine beach (a short drive from the touristy spots of Hastings st but awesome surfing beach).

Let me know where your thinking of staying and I can give you an honest run down on the pro's and con's..
