Yup, completely believe it happened! A relative gave 4mo DD a wheat rusk while I was busy helping her clean after she'd had surgery. I'd told her repeatedly that we were starting solids at 6mo and not introducing wheat/gluten til later due to allergies in the family! Plus DD was reclined in a bouncer sucking on it, so it was a choking hazard too! And she wondered why I wouldn't let her take her overnight!?!
