Get the kids to take 1 favourite stuffed toy each to cuddle at night so they have something familiar from home.

What kind of camping are you doing? Is it a powered site, does it have amenities?

A fold out table is good. If you have a booster for your 10 month old we put one on a camp chair and it worked perfectly.

A dustpan and broom to sweep out the tent.
A picnic blanket and maybe a playpen if your youngest is mobile.
    Cutlery, cups, bowls, plates
    Torches
    Sleeping bags/pillow/blanket
    Food and water
    Cooking utensils/something to cook on
    Tea towel, washing up stuff
    Towels and soap
    Wipes
    A ball
    Pegs and ropes for tent
    Aerogard/sun screen
    Some books/toys for the kids
    Marshmallows
We took a portacot for DS2 the last time we went.
If you have a gazebo they are good for shade while eating outside.

I haven't been brave enough for camping yet but I did start a Pinterest board to collect ideas. There are lots of helpful checklists & ideas on Pinterest which may be helpful. Hope you have a great time.

We go camping with a group over easter. Here is a list that one of us has done up. There may be little things not on there - for instance I don't think a mallet/hammer is on there.

There is alot on there that you could do without probably but there are some of us who don't really do camping so we try to make it as comfortable as we can.

Default Camping - what shouldn't I forget to take!

    Medications for the kids.

We bring those large buckets with handles for the bath.

Potty for the kids so you don't have to make a midnight run to the amenities block!

I always make sure I bring spare linen (extra towels, and extra bed sheet set) and I always lay a waterproof protector on the mattress because there is nothing worse than a wet bed or sheets while camping where you may not have an option to dry them.

Usually throughout the year I buy glow sticks, bubble mixture etc so it's ready in the camper trailer for each camping trip.

I keep most of my stuff in plastic boxes and drawers and the system that works for me is that each camping trip I list out my top ups of supplies and each shopping trip I buy one thing off the list and keep another box up in the house to fill up. So that it doesn't cost a packet before each trip.
