Too many hypotheticals - from both sides.
Over critical and over defensive, imo.
Hoping the police get to the bottom of this case soon.
Here it is again ... http://www.news-mail.com.au/news/chl...olice/2228233/
Rather than post the entire article again, I'll just include a couple of quotes ...
Det Insp McNab said Chloe's parents were not considered suspects, and said it could take time to eliminate others from the investigation because it could take time for DNA results to arrive back.
He said a number of people were being investigated but refused to say how many.
Det Insp McNab said parents in the area should take the usual precautions but it wasn't thought any other children were at risk of the same events.
"We believe (the abduction) was directed at Chloe," he said.
"We don't have any information at hand that anyone else is at risk."
However, Det Insp McNab also said detectives had no evidence that Chloe's family were being targeted in the lead-up to the crime.
What's the saying if it's looks like a duck, swims like duck, quacks like a duck - it's prob a duck
Geez Louise. It's not rocker science. Everyone who is all how can you judge you don't know them leave it to the police blah blah blah.
Regardless of wherever story media tells us I'm sure the cops have a fair idea of what's going on.
And just cos they not suspects doesn't mean they don't know who took her or why?
I haven't wanted to post again as it's getting heated, but I agree with 5ITB, there are hypotheticals... on both sides.
I truly feel empathy for the parents that they have a drug habit. People from all walks of life succumb to addiction. But I would argue the current situation is not suitable for the emotional and physical well being of the kids.
Also, not being suspects doesn't mean it wasn't drug dealing friends, or that he didn't know where she was, it just means they don't believe the parents were directly involved in the kidnapping.
Geez the lady they quoted has appalling English. ( and that's saying something coming from me)
