Yes. The news article mentioned he'd been drinking too:

Not long before his daughter was found, Mr Campbell was involved in a drunken fight outside the town's Federal Hotel.

It is understood the distraught father, who had been on a drinking binge since his daughter's disappearance, was arrested and charged about 7pm on Friday.

When I encountered them a few months back walking through the Main Street in town both the parents were so obviously drug/alcohol affected with 4 kids walking barefooted with them late at night. (Little baby was in a stroller) This is why I got immediate dodgy feelings about all of this. It's just revolting.

I love it how we can now speculate and throw in a bit of judgement now she has been found but when she was missing these types of posts were being deleted! Interesting!

I'd imagine the mods have probably just given up trying to get people to stop.

Default Trigger warning. 3 year old girl missing.

Addiction is a huge problem in Australia. And yes, some addicts have kids. It's heartbreaking. Addicts need as much support as possible - especially those with kids. They've made bad choices but they are human beings. I'd rather point my judgey stick at those drug dealing scum who are so far below humanity that they would involve a three year old in a drug debt.

Umm drug dealers are human beings too and they also have kids.

    Judge one, judge all...

They may have also made bad choices or had a rough life...

Not defending them, just saying. They r no different than people who take the drugs, in fact that's how they started out. Just taking them.

Or maybe they are busy tending to their families?

I didnt mean it in a bad way against the mods. Just that them asking people to stop earlier on made no difference whatsoever so why bother IYKWIM?
