Because he looked doped out in the interview.

I wish I lived in fairyland sometimes, but unfortunately I live in the real world and in the real world everyone knows you can't take everything we read in the media as 'fact'.

I'm not privy to Police intel, so I have no idea what information the family were told to withhold/supply to the media/public. I'm also not privy to what information was reported to the Police prior to all of this. All I have to go on is the information I read in the media, which I'm not going to take as 'fact' as I've not heard anything from the QPS confirming/denying reports.

I wasn't basing my opinion on what the media wrote. I was basing it on WATCHING the fathers interview.

He looked dodgy, acted dodgy, said dodgy things and the whole thing was just plain weird and uncomfortable... It didn't seem sincere either.

Again, my opinion and I know many others agree.

Anyway can't be bothered repeating the same stuff, I simply gave my opinion. Call a spade a spade. The guys dodgy, end of story.

I based my opinion on the same. The way he acted in the media wasn't right. Even the fact the he said it must have been someone they know. I would be shocked if someone I know abducted my kids, but then I don't hang around with dodgy characters.

I feel very sorry for these kids. 6 people living in a 2 bedroom place while dad is spending thousands on drugs. It's just so selfish. I hope docs helps them and that they stay together.

Because that dad and the mum seem drug affected and simple in their interviews. They have that look about them. Call me judgmental, I just call it a gut feeling.

I stopped at Childers a couple of months back while driving back home and this family stopped to pat my dogs. The little one ran straight up to me, they were sweet cute little things, barefooted walking through the main strip at 10pm+ at night with their mum and dad and tiny baby in a stroller. I remember the mums dark circles under her eyes and I felt sorry for the girls and baby boy just by the look of their parents, they were obviously high/drunk, it was awful. When I saw them on the news I knew it was dodgy from the get go after my experience with them. Poor kids. I'm glad Chloe is alive and well.

As someone who has had 1 pregnancy in 9 years of trying and desperate to fall pregnant it's a kick in the guts when druggies are able to have 4 beautiful kids. Always the way!!

I've struggled to have my children and I think your post is downright rude.
Im a happily married woman, we have good careers etc but I dont think like you.
They are still loving parents who try the best they know how and both them and their child did not deserve the abduction.

I don't care if I sound rude. Honestly they're doing "the best they know how"?? Please. I have no time for druggies, let alone druggies with 4 young kids.

I think yeah it sucks but seriously? Check your privilege at the door. People stuff up, it happens. Bad choices happen, bad influences etc... I don't condone it but I can't dismiss the fact that we aren't all on a level playing field and maybe they *are* doing the best they can?

I hope the parents are supported by DOCS and anyone else who can help them be the best parent they can be to their kids.
