I think an 8 or 9 year old boy who is starting to develop his own individuality and masculinity would disagree with you there.

Far more traumatising for my girls is that they see their brother going to the toilet I hadn't realised how damaging this was for them.

Let's not forget the horror of unisex and open toilets at daycare centres. All those little boy willies traumatising young girls.

I wouldn't know, I don't have a girl but I'd be sure they don't see numerous men do it at once.

Anyhow, I'm sure if she's brought in and that's just how it is for that family, then the kid is OK with it.
It just wouldn't be my preference and that's why I'd have no problem with a man using the ladies for his daughter's sake.

They're not standing in the middle of the room using their penises like a hose!!

They have their backs to anyone who enters the toilets for goodness sake!

If a child sees a penis in a male toilet it's because they've gone up and peered into the urinals.

I'm still trying to work out what is actually traumatising. Is it the smell? The men with penises (not that they could see them anyway)? Or the urinal? Honest question I am completely at a loss? Or is it a more sinister belief that something bad will happen to a child in a men's toilet? While their father is in the cubicle with them?

I'm actually concerned that we are raising a generation of girls who are being taught they have something to fear. Aren't we talking about a father taking his daughter into a toilet and staying with her?

I'm just not sure what the actual thing we have to fear is.
