Another good tip is once a day go around with a shopping bag and put any rubbish in it. It just stops bits of rubbish piling up.
DH is hopeless for leaving empty toilet rolls next to the loo so they get put in the bag.
Plus clothes tags, old mail, bits of paper etc etc
It's amazing how much difference just doing that can make.

This is the one thing I am good at getting rid of. We live in the hills and I am arachnophobic (it doesn't go well together) I once picked up a toilet roll on the floor and there was a huge wolf spider in it. There has never been a toilet roll left on the floor again!

I always clean the kitchen at night.

I'm usually up before the kids to have my Breakky and put washing on so that when they are having Breakky I can clean the kitchen. I like to get in front by doing this.

I have a robo vacuum so he cleans all the bedrooms for me but I go around once a day with my enjo broom.
Once a week I get out my vacuum and do the hard floor areas (not carpet, robot vac does a better job) and then an enjo mop which takes all of 10mins to do my 300sq/m house.

Once a month I do windows

Once a week I do cupboard doors, bathrooms scrub, dusting.

I clean toilets and vanities daily - I keep cleaning Items in the bathroom cub so every morning toilet gets a spray and wipe (with toilet paper so it flushes away) and a scrub if needed and vanity gets a spray a wipe.
I do the kids bathroom when they are in the bath.
Takes all of 5 mins and my bathrooms are always clean.

I try and do big jobs when ds2 is asleep and ds1 is in school so they don't miss out on time with me.
Hey lexis what kind of robo do you have?

    I have the irobot (roomba)
It's about $900 but much better than the cheaper brands. Although I've heard good things about the LG.

OH MY GOD THAT HAPPENED TO MEEEE!!!!!!!!!
We live in the country and have heaps of wolf spiders - they hide under Freaking everything!!!!!!!!!!- and one crawled out from the toilet paper roll.
Oh god they scare the **** out of me. I'm actually really good at keeping things off the floor because one could be lurking underneath it!!!!!

I've blocked up the water holes in my sliding door runners which is where they where coming in and we don't get nearly as many.
