On thursday night we all get in the kitchen to make differant types of hot cross buns and leave them to rise overnight.

Friday morning is a sleep in and then I get the kids into the kitchen. We put the buns into the oven to bake and the kids make some butter for the buns.(We use the jar and cheesecloth method)

Then we have a big late breakfast/brunch of hotcross buns.

We all head out to a park for a run around and then home for a day of baking and making our own easter chocolates in molds.
Then we have a seafood dinner and a movie together.

Saturday they go to my ex husband' s and I get them back sunday night.

Monday morning we do an egg hunt and then go to the cinema.

Good Friday is a quiet day, hot x buns for breakky and a family dinner of seafood BBQ
Easter Saturday more hot x buns for breakky. Family time. (We usually go away with dh family). Some beach/park/craft time. Cold meat and salad rolls for lunch. Dinner with the whole family. Kids leave out a carrot for Easter bunny.
Easter Sunday we have breakky (usually more hot x buns), kids see what the Easter bunny left. head to 9am mass. Open champers after mass and begin eating chocolate. Easter egg hunt in backyard for everyone.
Mil puts on a 3 course lunch. We eat as a whole family then nap or play cards/crafts/board games. Chocolates in the arvo and sangas for dinner!
Easter Monday we all head our seperate ways and go home.
Christmas is pretty much the same.
