I generally give DS these for morning/afternoon tea:

    Pikelets
    Fruit of any kind
Cheese and crackers (often spread with Vegemite)
    Banana bread
    Mini savoury muffins
    Mini sausage rolls
    Scone
    Sultanas

i keep meaning to try him with homemade popcorn. Do you reckon that's ok for a 2.5 year old?

@wobbleyhorse I put about 1/4 cup of popping corn in the bottom of the bowl (only cooking for 1 DS, lasts a couple of snacks) put the rice cooker together like you would to cook rice... I usually put 3 mins on the microwave & listen out, will start popping about the 1 minute mark then I wait for the popping to become a lot less frequent (after a couple of times you'll get to know with your microwave how long it will take)

I use this type of popping corn from coles or woollies.

You can also just chuck the popping corn in brown paper bags and microwave, that's how I do it for my boys
