Default Gold Coast state Primary Schools - help

    Hi Everyone,

    Long story short,
I had my heart set on sending my DS to King's Christian College but as personal decisions have arose, the truth of the matter is we now just cannot afford it.

I'm finding myself struggling with the concept of schooling as I just want him to have a great start and education as any mother would. I don't know GC schools very well and am just after some great and not so great reviews. I have been told countless times how great Coomera Rivers State school is and that is now at the top of my list. And yes, I am aware you must reside in the catchment to gain priority. ... (which we are happy to do for the sake of a good school)

So please, everyone, tell me your views on some Schools. Thank you!!

Mudgeeraba state school is great from what I have been told. Also Gilston Primary is great. My nephew goes there and loves it. Most people who applied to Gilston got in wen those who didn't live in the catchment.

I taught at Hillcrest for a while prior to having kids and that was an awesome school. It's still private but I'm sure it's less than kings. Maybe also try Gold Coast Christian College (between Hillcrest and Kings on Bridgman dr).
