    Thanks @AJsyd and @Lizard

AJ I hope your cycles even out soon for you, sounds just like mine when I came off the pill too. Mine are still about 35 days now, but hoping to get them down by a few more days if possible. The only time I had a 31 day cycle (the shortest one yet) was when I took vitex. I've decided I'm going to wait until AF is over before I start taking them, then take them all cycle except for AF from then on. I'll let you know if they seem to make any difference!

Lizard, I'm sad for you that the financial part is throwing a spanner in the works for you at the moment. I hope your DH manages to find another job soon so life will be easier for both of you! It's so stressful looking for work and worrying about money.

I'm a massive vitex convert. I've only been on it for a few weeks and can already see a massive difference. I was really starting to freak out that I wouldn't be ready to ttc in January as planned, but my cycles are so much better now. We have 5 frozen embryos and that's it for us, we won't be cycling again. So I really need this to work!
I've been following your stories and sending you piles of support. Your strength is inspirational. Keep at it, your dreams can't be too far away!

Thanks so much for that @safam That's given me some hope for vitex
Can I ask how you take it? (As in how many a day and whether you take it all cycle long?) When I took it last time I started spotting a few days after AF finished and I freaked out and stopped taking it thinking it must be the vitex - it might not have been though!

The packet says to take 3x per day with food, but I've been advised to take just two, but together first thing in the morning. I use the Blackmore's brand.
Spotting would have freaked me out too! Ugh our bodies love to mess with our minds don't they? If you end up giving it another go, I hope it works well for you!

It's a herb, also known as Agnus Castus or Chaste Tree. Can be a bit hard to find, I get mine on ebay.

Fantastic thanks @safam ! I always panic easily with herbs because lots of them do weird things to me. Like maca (I know technically not a herb but you know what I mean) and evening primrose oil - both turn me into a psychopath! I want to kill people! My mum is exactly the same too! But other than the spotting which May or may not have been from that, vitex didn't seem to have any bad effects on me
@AJsyd I can get the blackmores one at most of the big chemists I've found it's supposed to be pretty great at regulating your cycles

    Thanks ladies,

Even though I got the BFN, Im still a little hopeful, I usually have 26-27 day cycles, and am CD28 today and still no sign, no pre AF cramps or moodiness, so not sure if it was just too early on a cheap test, last time I tested pos was the day after AF was due and it was extremely faint, it may just be wishful thinking, but I figure if no AF by Sunday I'll test again
@Lizard, hope your man can find work soon, I know how hard it is to find work, the only jobs my employment office can find me is hospitality which I don't want but also can't work because of my knee :/
