    Welcome to the group @Sasssssy

And all the best with your procedure @Shrillian hope things start moving along for you after that too.

AFM I'm at CD19/6DPO no symptoms but then I've kinda given up thinking it's gonna happen until we see the FS. can't afford that yet so I'm thinking of going to a free seminar to get a bit more info and knowledge in the mean time.
    Hey Lizard.
I was worried about how much the FS would cost too! But we bit the bullet and went because I don't wanna be too old when I have a 2nd.
Our first session cost us 300 for both of us to be consulted etc
I had one blood test that's set me back 40. And each month when I go back in for a scan and bloods on site costs 130 with 70 coming back. At least this is my experience so fast so it's not coating us an arm or a leg. But im just at the starting stages and it was determined I would start clomid which is about 34 for a 2 mth supply. I think of you at least know what you're looking at then you can start planning. Defo go to the free session first.... but this might give you an idea

@HillDweller not that I'm happy you're down but it is kinda good to know someone is going through the same feelings as me at the moment, we can be grumble bums together.
@Sasssssy thanks that info does help. 300 together is what we're looking at too for our first appt but as DH is currently unemployed it's just gonna have to wait till we have more money coming in. Can I ask why they are putting you on clomid? I'm wondering if they are likely to do that with me or if there needs to be specific reasons for it? (Still waiting on DH getting his test done too)
@Bellefire welcome, so long as you don't mind putting up with a few of us having our little rants and whinges every so often then the more the merrier right?

    @HillDweller - sorry you're feeling blue. We're always here when/if you need us! x

@Bellefire - hi hun! I know what you mean. I'd rather not have you in here, as you should be in a DiG!! x

@Lizard - my initial appointment cost around $270 for both of us. My monitoring cycles for OI were $250, which covered all test. I didn't need to see FS each month for those, so just the cycle monitoring charge. My most recent appointment with him only cost me $150. But my HyCoSy today cost me $510 (I think I'll get around $105 back from Medicare for it).

AFM, the HyCoSy went really well today! Tubes are all clear and no polyps! Yay! The Dr that did it was really happy with my tubes, so taking it as a good sign!

I assume once he gets the results, I'll need to meet up with my FS again to discuss my plan of action with starting IVF. I'm a little nervous now about it all starting! 😳

I have my SIL's baby shower this weekend. Reeeeally not looking forward to meeting everyone there and being asked when my turn is. 😣

Oh @Shrillian feeling for you with the baby shower. Glad that your procedure went well, maybe you'll even get a BFP without the IVF. if you do I'm going straight to the FS and asking for one of those, lol.

I'm headed interstate to see my new nephew this weekend. Feeling ok about it now but I really would have struggled earlier on, kinda glad I had the whole different city/interstate excuse to give me some time. He'll be 5weeks old when I see him.

Oh, finally got confirmation on me having polycystic ovaries, though! 22 on my left and 30 on my right. Largest one was only 10mm, so definitely not ovulating properly on my own. So doubt there'll be a BFP prior to IVF, but yes, that would be nice. 😉

    Naww - newborn cuddles! xx

It's just the people that will be there that will annoy me the most. Very judgemental, so me having gained a tonne of weight is not going to help the situation either.

I'm considering responding with "we're too happy practising" or something else tongue in cheek like that.

Thanks Shrill xx So glad the procedure went so well for you! Ugh, I hate the "when is it going to be your turn?" questions. So rude. I have been known to coke back with a sarcastic comment or two depending on my mood! Lol

I got to see my best friends little prem baby on the weekend. She's just come home. Here's a laugh for you - it was literally the first time I've ever held a baby in my life. Yep, seriously! LOL I thought maybe I better try it on for size just incase
