@MamaL - both of the clinics I've been to definitely asked for one. I think it's a Medicare thing for claiming.

Definitely get another one and and if your bloods were useful, ask for a copy of their results that you can take along.

Ok great, thanks Shrillian. I'll probably need to take deep dive at home to find it. It was attached with the blood test results as well.

    Hey girls

I'm 35, with 2 children, 3 angel babies and ttc almost 3 years. Unexplained fertility like many here and feeling like time is rapidly running out (DH is in his 40's).

I'm currently seeing a gyno with a view to IVF maybe early next year, funds and willingness to continue ttc permitting.

@mumwants3 & @delirium - you've been added to the first post! Sorry for being slack before. And officially... Welcome! Hope your sticky BFPs aren't too far away.

So unofficial results from BT yesterday is that they think AF will be visiting herself in the next couple of days. Which makes sense given the cramps I've been having. I'm happy about this as it means I don't need to take extra drugs (Provera to bring on AF), just the Letrozole for induction!

Yes, I'm feeling really hopeful about it this time around. Here's hoping!

AF turned up yesterday evening, so it was a funny call from the clinic this morning:

Nurse: "FS would like you to take the provera"
Me: "AF started in a small way last night. Starting to get heavier today"
Nurse: "Aha! I'll talk to the FS again and get back to you"

I asked her to check with him on two scenarios for me:

    1. What to do if I have a full AF
    2. What to do if I only have minor AF

    Waiting to hear, now!

Only thing I'm "concerned" about is my dosage for Letrozole. Previous FS had me on 1 x 2.5mg tablet a day, whereas new FS wants me to take 2 x 2.5mg tablets a day. I think the last cycle of mine didn't work that well (follie found was only 18mm, so they weren't certain I would O), so I guess upping the dosage would be good. I guess I'm just concerned about taking extra and how my body will react to that?

If AF continues properly, then I will be taking the tablets from CD4.

Already so much more different from the original care I had, where it was started intermittently within a month (though still only told to take them after bloods) as opposed to on specific day of my cycle with this place.

    Fx it works first go!!

I don't know anything about Letrozole but I have my for you Shrillian.

I feel like I'm in limbo at the moment. I ended up getting testing for NK cells done, stupidly through my FS who gave me the referral. When I spoke to the FS he said he needed to call the hospital to clarify the results, sounded like FS didn't understand them..? And now over a week later he hasn't got back to me and they are giving me the run around trying to get a copy of the results. Am thinking of doing IVF next cycle, want to be doing something (apart from the obvious) to make my BFP happen.
