Well, at least I'm not alone in the having a mini meltdown escapade If AF is in fact on her way, hope it shows up soon so you can at least be at the start of the next cycle!

Lizard, glad whatever procedure is over for you. Man our bodies give us so much grief!

    UPDATE:
    CD48, no AF, BFN
i had a big teary this morning.
last night was cramps + one other symptom had me almost convinced, so I was gutted to get another negative. Feels like I'm in limbo.

anyways, as soon as I read the paper I was forced to get a grip (and some perspective) in reading about the Malaysia Airlines thing. Horrific.

    anyway, happy weekend all

That's so frustration AJ really hope AF or a BFP show up soon!!

I know what you mean about the perspective, I give myself massive talkings to all the time about that.

I am having a lovely weekend because my best friend in the world just had her first baby yesterday and I get to see her today She was admitted to hospital Thursday with preeclampsia at 34 weeks and I was rather terrified! They decided they needed to get the baby out yesterday, she came out breathing on her own so we all got to have a sigh of relief and smiles all round. I am convinced that will be us soon girls (well, hopefully the holding the new baby thing, not the preeclampsia thing obviously. Lol) I have never in my life been excited about someone having a baby, this is the first time for me!

Great news for your friend HD, my sister just had her 3rd on Monday and I haven't been able to get there to see him yet (I'm in Melbourne she's in Adelaide) and I can't get back this coming weekend either. I better buy a pretty big teddy I think. I've found it hard to be excited for her this whole pregnancy too, because it's not happening for me, not right I know but I just can't help it.

@Lizard - I get what you mean. My DH's sister is expecting her 5th in August. I can barely speak to her at the moment. Not because she's obviously insanely fertile and I'm obviously not, but because she and her partner can't afford the four they already have and sponge off the family.

    Sorry. Vent over.

@Shrillian oh don't get me started! When she told me she was pregnant again I couldn't believe it, as I think she struggles with the 2 she already had. Financially they are fine, but she doesn't seem to manage the kids or her home so well, mum goes over once a week and helps her clean.
Sorry rant over!! I am happy for them. Just hard to be overjoyed with my current situation.

Hi all, new here. I'm 34, and my partner and I have just started ttc after coming off anti-depressants and having knee surgery, I'm currently on CD22, after coming off the pill. Last time I ttc with my ex, I got my BFP in my second cycle after stopping the pill but sadly ended in mc.
This time around I have been feeling emotional, achy and tender boobs since about 2DPO, but the tenderness has eased, although the headaches have increased

Hi @NicM welcome, hope your TTC journey is much more positive this time.
Give yourself time to get back to normal after the anti-depressants and surgery, sometimes our bodies just know when we're ready or not. Hopefully it won't be long.
