I thought IUI was only really offered when SA wasn't the best?

Are you confusing IUI with ICSI Jen?

I thought IUI was for good sperm, but ladies with a difficult cervix?

Yep. This. The gyno said I had a bit of a twist at the top of my cervix, so maybe that's been causing issues? I haven't seen the FS since I had my internal scan.

I am feeling soooo un-magnificent this morning.

I promised myself I wouldn't stress over stuff, but of course, I break promises to myself I'll the time! Lol. I can't talk to anyone else about this stuff because they say things like "it'll happen when it's meant to happen, you're going to make it not happen because you're stressed" which even if it is true doesn't make me feel any better about it. I already know I have the patience of a small puppy goddamnit.

I am CD32, my acupuncturist told me last Tuesday that she was sure AF was coming from what she could feel in my pulse. My last cycle was 42 days, but that was straight after coming off BCP and the Chinese herbs I'm taking should shorten my cycle apparently. I have felt like AF was coming for 3 days now, but nothing. However lots of EWCM (sorry, tmi) which has made me worry that I'm actually O'ing now and my cycle is still 40 something days. If that's the case, there will literally be one time this whole year (in Oct) when DH is home from work at the right time. Once.

I have had that symptom before AF before, but it hasn't come yet, and now if it does in the next day or so, DH comes home on Tuesday for his week break (regardless of the fact we can't make babies then, I still want to be able to, erm, have fun with my DH of course, so I'm narrowing my eyes in a big way at the Universe for that one too)

I feel super pi$$ed off at the whole world and at the same time feel like a completely selfish mole because I know other people have been trying for years, and here I am having a tantrum when we've been ttc for all of 2 months.

So someone just tell me to stop being a stupid cry baby. Sigh!

@HillDweller - sorry, but I'm not going to tell you to stop being a cry baby. It doesn't matter how long you or others have been trying for. TTC takes its toll on all of us at all points throughout the process. Be sad. Be annoyed. You need to own the feelings you're going through, otherwise bottling them up will make you feel worse later on.

Have a cry... But remember to pick yourself back up and go forth! We're here whenever you need anyone to vent to. *big hugs*

Oh thank you Shrillian, you are so kind! I think I'm extra emotional because EVERYTHING seems to go wrong when DH is away. Yesterday I even had the biggest feral cat I've ever seen (this thing was bigger than one of my dogs and she's a Staffy) chasing our chickens in their pen!! I nearly had a heartattack. Now I've got to go and keep checking on them every 10 mins!

I think I'm going to make a list of all the things I can do right now that I might find more difficult after we have a baby...and do some of them whenever I start feeling this way. (Not drinking and smoking or anything hehe just things like "I can lay next to the pool and read a book for 5hours straight and I don't have to do anything" and "I can invent new recipes like I like doing and cook up a feast for DH when he comes home" stuff like that).

I think I might also try and beat the Universe at its own game.. Maybe we'll book a holiday to one of the Thai islands, a really expensive resort you can only get to by rough speed boat....so I couldn't get there if I was pregnant. Then....the Universe will have to decide whether it thinks it's more amusing to let me get pregnant so we can't go and we've wasted money or to not let me get pregnant but I get an amazing holiday I win either way. Check mate Universe <Big Evil Grin>
Ahhh see, you've made me feel better already

Now, with that in mind, I'll be heading off to meet up with my best friend who's very pregnant and got that way when she was on the pill and not even trying. Lol. But I love her. Hehe
